I ordered the uni-don, choosing the 2nd grade of uni (overseas uni) for 30g. There are three grades of uni, with the domestic type being the most expensive, at ¥480 per 10g. The uni looks quite small on the rice bowl so I'd recommend ordering the uni on a tray with plain rice on the side because that looks like a better deal (for about ¥1680). The uni tastes okay, some part has a hint of bitter taste, which could happen to uni from what I heard. At times I also felt the uni tastes a bit coconuty. I don't know why, but I grew up in coconut land and know the smell and taste of coconut, so I think my comparison is fair :) In a nutshell, I wasn't too impressed by the uni-don.
I also ordered a baked creamy shrimp with uni side dish and that was quite a savior. Delicious despite being a bit small. If I were to come back next time, I would skip the plain uni and go for the side dishes.

The best quality mexican styled seafood ceviche ive had in toronto. The ceviche priced at $7 is def a must-try dish along with the baja tacos priced at $5. The ceviche is slightly small for two people but filling for one person. The battered fish in baja tacos is crispy and perfectly fried. The only downside to the restaurant is that it allows only stand up and can get easily over crowded. Def a ideal place for a quick flavorful bite on the go!

When we asked for a "non-fine dining" place to grab some good food, the concierge at our hotel recommended The Rocks Cafe. My wife had the fish & chips, and I had the kangaroo burger. Both were very good. It was my first time with kangaroo, and had a nice flavor -- a sort of "gamy beef." The burger had two patties and the wonderful juiciness that I love in a cafe-style burger. My wife's fish were fried in a light batter, letting the fish and the tarter speak for themselves. I do wish there was a longer beer list, but that's a trifle.

Oysters and clams. The two things I am afraid of when eating raw. Because you can never get them fresh enough and plus I don't like the taste of ocean that much. But guess what. The menu at depot tells you which one of the shellfish is less fishy then the other. After all the times I went there, I figured out that the Tio point Oyster at $5.5each is the best oyster, and the Tuatua clam at $2.5each is the best clam. They both taste sweet and smells nothing like a fish market. I have had the meat board twice now, and I still can't believe how good the rabbit rillette tastes. It's so fatty and bad for you but it just tastes so good. Haha. Ok, on to the other dishes. The turbot slider is faultless, the fish fillets were cooked just right. Not over and not under. It's so moist and flaky. It's delicious. The kumara, the yam are also very tasty as a side and there is plenty of them to share for a party of two or even three. Service is great, they will even get you chilli sauce if you ask. I can see why this place was rated the best restaurant in auckland last year. Great food for the price. Well two thumbs up. One last thing, they can even validate your parking tickets for skycity. :-)

OK, to be fair - food was very nice, altho for that type of food in Brussels, you can find even better. But the attitude of the guy working there was beyond appalling! It looked more as if he just stopped by to play an extra in a movie than actually do some work, like serving for example. It took forever to even ask for the drinks, let alone for the food or to bring it. It was nearly TWO hours to bring the food and the resto as tiny as it is wasn't even half full!
I'm not gonna even mention how the menu (black on white) says you can order some wines as glasses, not only bottles and he refused outright to serve those to few of our company "because he didn't have a bottle open and he wasn't going to open one just for that"... Excuse my language, but WTF?!
Bottom line is, my friends and I, ate as fast as possible to get out of there and are NOT coming back, nor is either of our friends. It's a pity cause again - the chef was actually very good with his food!

There was a line up here today for lunch and I can understand why!
For £3.50 I got a box heavily laden with green thai chicken curry goodness layered over white sticky rice.
This is brilliant - they need to open a chain of them all over London!

Piastra per capelli senza fili, ricaricabile tramite USB, molto adatta per i viaggi (rosso),Excellent food and service. Tapas style dishes and we thought all four we ordered were very tasty. We had the green beans, fried chicken, linguini and beet salad. I recommend them all. We finished with two desserts: ice cream and walnut cake. Highly recommend either. We reserved online via their website 3 hours prior on a Monday
